Life Skills Development

At United As 1, we help NDIS participants build essential life skills to become more independent and confident in their daily lives. Our programs are practical, person-centred, and tailored to each participant’s goals and abilities.

We support participants with:

  • 🍳 Cooking and meal preparation

  • 💰 Budgeting and managing money

  • 🧼 Personal hygiene and self-care routines

  • 🧺 Laundry, cleaning, and home organisation

  • 🗣️ Communication and social interaction

  • 🚌 Using public transport safely

  • 📅 Time management and daily planning

  • 💻 Basic computer and technology skills

  • 🛒 Shopping and community access

Our support workers create a safe and encouraging environment for participants to learn at their own pace — at home, in the community, or in small group settings.
