Who is eligible for NDIS support through United As 1?
Anyone with an approved NDIS plan can access our services. We support participants who are self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed across Sydney and Greater Western Sydney.
How do I book a support worker with United As 1?
You can browse our available support workers on our website and click “Book This Support Worker.” You’ll be able to view availability, choose your preferred date and time, and confirm the booking online.
What suburbs do you service in Western Sydney?
We proudly support participants across all Western Sydney suburbs. Whether you’re in Parramatta, Blacktown, Penrith, Liverpool, or any surrounding area, United As 1 is here to assist you with reliable and personalised NDIS services.
Can I choose my own support worker?
Absolutely. We believe in choice and control. You can view detailed profiles, languages spoken, availability, and areas serviced by each support worker before making your booking.
Do your support workers have police checks and right-to-work clearance?
Yes. All our support workers go through comprehensive screening, including identity verification, police checks, NDIS Worker Screening, and confirmation of right to work in Australia.
Is there a minimum number of hours required to book a support worker?
Our minimum booking duration is 2 hours per support session. This ensures quality time for both the participant and the support worker and aligns with industry standards.
How do I pay for my NDIS services?
Your payment method depends on how your NDIS plan is managed:
• Plan-Managed: We send the invoice directly to your plan manager after each service. No action is required from you.
• Self-Managed: You’ll enter your payment details when booking a support worker. After each session, your saved payment method will be charged automatically, and a receipt will be emailed to you.
• NDIA-Managed: We claim payments directly through the NDIS portal, so you don’t need to do anything.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a booking?
We require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
You can cancel or reschedule support bookings through your online dashboard or by contacting our team. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid any cancellation fees.
